Why would cricket fall behind after the blockbuster movie “Pathaan,” starring Shah Rukh Khan, conquered the world? On Saturday, February 11, former India captain Virat Kohli joined the Pathaan movement by attempting the dancing moves from the movie’s title track, “Jhoome Jo Pathaan.” The song, which was once derided, loathed, and rejected, has become a rage since the film’s premiere last month. Fans are dancing to the tune in theatres and creating reels, and Kohli has even come to love the viral dance move.

The players were waiting on the fence as Team India prepared to enter the field following the conclusion of their batting innings before captain Rohit Sharma gave a huddle address. Kohli made the decision to have some fun while the other players waited for a few of them to enter the field. When Kohli repeated the dancing move after the initial attempt, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja joined him.

Despite his lacklustre performance with the bat, Kohli seemed as upbeat as ever on the field and seemed to be enjoying himself as Team India inch closer to an innings victory. Australia just gave up in front of India’s spinners after the lower order of Jadeja, Axar Patel, and Mohammed Shami assisted the hosts in pushing India’s total to 400.
